Conference Rankings

Any way you slice it, the ACC outperformed the SEC this year. Louisville's Lamar Jackson won the Heisman. The top two quarterbacks likely to be taken on April 27 in the NFL Draft's first round should be Clemson's Deshaun Watson and UNC's Mitch Trubisky. Clemson vanquishing the Crimson Tide only put a bow on things. The Big Ten had a much better regular season than the SEC, so the mighty conference that has topped these rankings for years will finish the season third in a down year.

1) ACC
2) Big Ten
3) SEC
4) Pac-12
5) Big 12
6) American Athletic
7) Mountain West
8) MAC
9) Sun Belt
10) Conference USA
