STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -Evan Royster ran for three touchdowns and a career-high 141 yards and No. 19 Penn State's defense didn't miss a beat without two suspended starters in a 45-14 win Saturday over Oregon State.
Quarterback Daryll Clark threw for two scores and added an 18-yard touchdown run for Penn State, which led 35-7 by halftime. Wideout Jordan Norwood had a touchdown and a career-high 118 receiving yards.
Coach Joe Paterno held out starting defensive linemen Maurice Evans and Abe Koroma for the game for an undisclosed off-field issue. But the defense had little trouble with the Oregon State's offense.
Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns to lead Oregon State.
