Wofford 41, Charleston Southern 23

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -Mitch Allen ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns to lead Wofford to a 41-23 victory over Charleston Southern on Saturday night in a game that was moved from neighboring Charleston because of Tropical Storm Hanna.
The Terriers (2-0) totaled 434 rushing yards compared to the Buccaneers (0-2), who had only 60 yards on the ground.
Tribble Reese connected with Tim Jones for a 6-yard touchdown to give the Buccaneers a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. John Pagila made a 48-yard field goal to push Charleston Southern's lead to 10 points.
Michael Scott scored on a 3-yard run to tie the game at 13-13 in the second. After both teams scored touchdowns, Andy Strickland broke the tie with a 71-yard touchdown run in the third, then Allen had a 29-yard scoring run to put Wofford ahead 34-20 with 14:52 left in the game.
