The Masters is the first of four major golf tournaments. This annual event takes place in the first week of April and is held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
Along with the championship, the winner is given a green jacket, which has become a signature staple of the tournament.
Jack Nicklaus holds the most victories at Augusta with six championships, while Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods both own four wins at The Masters.
In the 2013 Masters, Adam Scott won the event in the second hole of a sudden-death playoff against Angel Cabrera. The pair both finished at 9-under 279. This was the second straight year that saw The Masters end in a playoff. Scott's win was the first for an Australian player at The Masters.
Oddsmakers in Las Vegas had odds on Scott as high as 25/1 (Bet $100 to win $2,500).
