ALDIE, Va. (AP) - Past champion Bill Britton and Charlie Bolling shared the second-round lead Friday in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship.
Britton, the 2009 winner, shot a 2-under 70 in cold and windy conditions to match Bolling at 3-under 141. Bolling shot a 69. Both played at Creighton Farms, the site of the final two rounds.
The 56-year-old Britton is the director of instruction at Donald Trump's Colts Neck, N.J., facility. Bolling, a 54-year-old PGA Life Member, was the PGA head professional at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, N.Y., from 1997-2011.
Defending champion Kirk Hanefeld of Acton, Mass., was even par after a 74 at Creighton Farms.
