Adam Scott, Jason Day set for World Cup

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) - Masters champion Adam Scott and Jason Day will represent Australia in the World Cup of Golf in next month at Royal Melbourne.

Tournament officials announced the pairing Saturday.

``It will be a great week for Australian golf,'' said Scott, ranked No. 2 in the world.

Matt Kuchar and Gary Woodland will play for the United States in the Nov. 21-24 event that will feature individual, stroke-play competition with a team component - total scores of two-man teams.
