I think one of the key handicapping factors in Tournament play is to go on or against certain Conferences. No question, the Pac 10 is the Top Conference this season. Conferences that we will be looking to bet against this Big Dance include the Big Ten, SEC and Mountain West.
UNLVand BYU in my opinion from the Mountain West are getting too much respect and would not be surprised if neither wins a single game in in the Tournament.
Halftime wagers have always been a bonanza of action during the Tournament. With two games going on at the same time you have options to jump in if the scores are lopsided. Betting on large favorites is not a solid play but if they are down at half time significantly, they almost always make a run to just win the game outright and cover the SECOND HALF LINE. Also, watching the first half closely on TV can give you an edge knowing key players are hurt or some teams are just not getting calls or hitting their free throws.
