OK, we are off to a good start in the NBA playoffs 9-1 ATS.
I firmy believe the Western Conference teams will burn themselves out, battling game after game, while the Pistons and Celtics coast to the East Final.
Yes, the 76ers won the opener, but the power rating and depth of the Pistons is too much and they blew them out in Game Two. Sure, the 76ers were one of the better teams in the second half of the season and they put together a nice run to ensure a playoff spot, but enough is enough, they do not have the horses to win this series. I will be shocked if they pull it out.
Yes, we lost a few bets going against Trevor Immelman in the Masters, namely the matchup with Freddy Couples. But, I have looked back at the numbers and there is just no way you could have predicted Immelman would finish in the Top 20 let alone make the cut.
I had another winning Masters with our matchup selections and props going 9-4 total. I have my golf records that date back to 1991 and for 17 straight years I have shown a profit betting on the Masters.
We have a matchup wager at the EDS Byron Nelson against Immelman again, with Adam Scott. The distractions after winning the Masters is enormous. He shot 78 in Round One, I don't think we can lose this matchup either.
