ATS Study of Returning Starters correlated to their Win Record the previous year.
Handicapping Theory for College Football ….WEEK ONE or Opening Game
Bad College Football teams that managed only 4 wins or less the previous season and RETURN 12 starters or more are still very bad football teams and should be considered so until better form is produced on the field. Baring teams with multiple starter injuries or talented No. #1 QB injuries are not to be considered.
Weak programs or teams with poor athletes do not take the same pride in off season conditioning as Top teams. They sometimes loathe the start of training camp. Possibly same can be said for their coaches, but new coaches will put in the effort. The bottom line is they just don’t have the skill and talent that the other power house programs do.
