It seems that everywhere you look, someone or some team has issues. Take the Florida basketball team for example. The Gators have now lost 3 of their last 4 games and there are many out there, including some of the Gator faithful, who are ready to press the panic button in Gainesville. It sounds like Donovan's boys have issues but if they can beat up on Kentucky Sunday at home and have a strong showing the SEC tournament, this ship should right itself.
There's also issues for Oklahoma State, a bubble team that will go to Baylor this week without their top player Mario Boggan. In case you missed it, Boggan was involved in a head-butting incident against Kansas State and has since been suspended by coach Sean Sutton. It's nice to see a coach taking responsibility even though it may cost his team a trip to the Big Dance. If they lose, Sutton will have issues.
There are going to be more than a few athletes out there in trouble now that Applied Pharmacy Services computers have identified athletes that were involved as customers in an illicit steroid distribution network. If you're in the computer, you're going to be guilty in the court of public opinion. You now have issues, congrats.
Kansas students, you're also guilty of having issues to deal with. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have defined chickens as "very intelligent and inquisitive animals" and have let your university president know about it. Therefore, there will be no more live chicken being tossed. The people at PETA have made an issue out of it. No live chickens. Got it?
It seems that athletes issues have rubbed off on celebrities. Paris Hilton was pulled over for speeding and not using her headlights and since Hilton may have been driving with a suspended license, she may be dealing with her issues behind bars. Can't the girl afford a car service?
Other issues of note: Barry Bonds has admitted to receiving death threats, Jamal Lewis is now unemployed, and Lou Pinella is taking over a team that seems to be cursed. Think you have issues?
