You have to believe that Sean O'Hair made the right choice going for the pin on the 17th hole at Sawgrass on Sunday but since it cost him $700,000, you also have to believe he regrets it. I don't care what he says to the media, if you lost that kind of money, you'd rethink your decision. The guy was two strokes back with two to play against one of the best in the world so the chances were bleak he'd pull out the win. Sean, I don't think you made the right play here.
Along with those new golf balls on the range, tees and ball markers in the locker room, and water everywhere you turn, I suggest the PGA supply a muzzle for any player who can't keep his mouth shut when provoked by the media. (Insert any Rory Sabbatini comment here). I also suggest pairing Sabbatini with Woods in the U.S. Open, just for laughs.
The Buffalo Sabres have their hands full heading to Ottawa tonight. While I really don't care all that much about this series, I do feel bad for the people of Buffalo who will go yet another year without any sports championships.
It was reported that Brett Farve was upset that the Packers didn't make some better moves during the offseason including bringing in Randy Moss. Quite frankly Brett, you should quiet down and just play football like every other player in the NFL. I understand this is "your team" but it can't possibly help that from your leadership role, you vent your frustrations to the media. If you don't like what's going on, you have every reason to hang it up.
The Golden State Warriors lost at home last night and now face elimination. It was a good run while it lasted but I think the Dallas series simply took too much out of this team. Build on it.
Major League Baseball finalized the World Series schedule and announced that a Game 7 would be played on November 1st. November? As if the season wasn't long enough?
Billy Donovan and the University of Florida added another commit today in McDonald's All-American point guard Jai Lucas. That gives the two-time defending national champs four of the top 50 basketball recruits in the country with Patrick Patterson still to announce. Rebuilding might be quicker than anyone thought.
I've yet to comment on the NCAA moving the three point line back. Put me on record as being against the change. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. College basketball is at an all time high in popularity and the three point shot is one of the most exciting parts of the game. Bad NCAA, bad.
After numerous player interviews, I'm now convinced that Bill Parcells was forced out of Dallas. It seems that everyone has had negative coments amount how the Tuna ran his program and that includes more players than just T.O.
