We have a new leader in the N.L. as the red hot Marlins fresh off their sweep of Milwaukee has risen to the head of the class. Arizona holds the best record in MLB but has been laying big numbers lately; showing us that the best teams on paper isn’t always the best way to make money. It’s also interesting that Atlanta & the New York Mets have winning records but are still in minus when it comes to profits. Conversely, Baltimore and Texas have losing records but are keeping their heads above water as these clubs have done well as underdogs this season, Texas just took 3 of 4 in Seattle to help their cause.
San Diego, has been killing betters, with their big name pitching odds makers have installed the Padres as decent favorites while SD is 11 games below .500, crushing bank rolls. Colorado is still hung over from winning the National league last season. The A’s are quietly winning games while betters are making nice profits. Seattle is having big troubles putting runs on the board; they need to get their offense moving before the Angles pull away with the division.
Here is a breakdown of total UNITS for the season. (This is based on $100 moneyline bets per team. So if you bet any particular team every time they played this season, this is where you would stand).
