The day is finally here, pack your cooler and lets get those bets in.... I am not a big horse player but my Father-in-law is. I always bug him for his picks when the "big" races go off, or when there is horse racing on ESPN. I'm an action junkie, I admit it, but I like to win and he normally delivers.
With that said I'm probably going to bet this race 20 differnt ways but my "core" selections are what my wonderful Father-in-law provided me with.
To win he likes Nobiz Like Shobiz(12) at 8-1
To show he likes Street Sense(7) at 4-1
To place he likes Scat Daddy(14) at 10-1
Put these horses in exacta's and triple boxes, if you need MORE ACTION or possible horses that might sneak in, he also like Circular Quay(16) at 8-1, Any Given Saturday(18) at 12-1 and the Favorite, Curlin(2) 7-2 gets consideration. Throw these horses in differnt combo's, he strongly belives that these 6 horses will finish at the fron of the pack. Have fun today, enjoy one of the best sporting events in the world!!
