Kevin Rogers - About Me

Kevin Rogers has been handicapping football, basketball, and baseball for eight years. His handicapping days began in Tallahassee at Florida State University, then to Kansas City, and now back in South Florida.

Rogers also hosts a radio show on 790 the Ticket in Miami, nightly from 9:00 p.m. to Midnight. Past all the numbers, Rogers puts a lot of stock into situational handicapping, trying to find where certain teams are up for or not prepared for games.

Rogers makes his VegasInsider.com debut this baseball season, and looks forward to a profitable season.

Since Monday June 16, there were seven "setup" games that the public may have been all over, but eventually lost. All these games were series openers (and one make-up game). These are not necessarily trap games by the oddmakers, instead "setup" games for certain teams. The following will detail why exactly betting on or against streaks isn't always the way to go.
