Adam Meyer - About Me

There are always all kinds of debates on who the biggest star in Vegas is. Well, around this time of year, there is no question about it. His name is Adam Meyer, and he is the sports consultant to the stars. You don't think for a minute that the biggest players in "Send-it-in-city" pick their own games do you? No way! Adam is box office money, and the heavy hitters know it. His client list reads like the front page of Variety.

He’s been in the handicapping business for over 20 years and has made over a million dollars in one year for his top clients. Each week over ten million dollars is waged based on his advice. If there’s an outcome, Adam will show you how to turn it into an income. The only people who don't find him attractive are the sports books. Actually…they hate him, and for good reason. He wins…and still holds the published record of 28 NFL wins in a row…against the spread in 2007.

Adam has also caught the eye of the people in the biz with more than a dozen current radio shows and a weekly TV appearance on Fox Sports. There is a movie role in the works as well as a reality show. Adam isn't a rising star, he's already there.

"But casinos are fun" Last year roughly 50 million people visited Las Vegas. Oh the glitz, the glamour, the lights, the sounds, the cocktail waitresses with the push-up bras. 50 million people, and at least 300,000 of them won a little money. The other 49 million and change paid for the glitz, the glamour, the push-up bras and then some. But Vegas is fun, even though you have about a 2% chance of winning on any given trip. Do you want to know how to make a small fortune in Vegas? Go there with a large one. They have it down to a science; it's called "kickyourassology". It's one of the few entertainment concepts funded almost totally by its customers. They have it all their own way. The payouts on the slots are predetermined. They don't have to tinker with the table games, because they already have the edge there. And the days of comps are gone, replaced by signature restaurants with signature prices. They keep you busy and dizzy with the whirling colors and the cha-ching of the slots. No clocks. No windows. No sense of day or night. They like it that way. Time is their friend. So you go for a few days with the dream of hitting it big. And one out of every 30 or so times you will, and it will take your mind off of the previous failed attempts...because Vegas is fun. I've been there, and I've done that, and I've come up with a different point of view on action, and that is...winning is fun. What stays in Vegas...is your money. But hey, casinos are fun.

"Will somebody please get that…" Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring, Ring, Ring. Ring. Ring…….. "Will somebody pleeeeeeeeease pick that up?" "Why?" "Well, maybe it's the New York Yankees" "Why do you say that?" "Just a hunch, could be the 27 rings". Okay, in all seriousness, how impressive were the Yankees…again? You can trot out the overplayed “yeah but they bought another championship", but I'll say this... you still have to throw the ball, hit the ball and catch the ball. And once again, they did it all. There was a lot of pressure on them this year. Highest payroll in the league by far, the boss is truly failing, and somebody has to pay off the gazillion-dollar stadium. They had to deal with chapters two three and four of the A-Rod saga, and explain their way around 6,000.00 seats and 55.00 personal pizzas. But as the so aptly phrased sign in left field said as they were wrapping it up in game 6..."It feels like home now". I tip my cap to the boys in pinstripes. They got it done. Oh excuse me one second…..Ring. Ring. "Somebody want to get that?...I think it's the Red Sox."
