I really like the NFL card today and expect to do very well with my two top plays, both available here at VI. Hopefully, the free opinion gets there as well. That’s on the hookup between two of the league’s lesser lights as Cleveland takes to the road for a clash with the Chiefs in Kansas City.
I can’t say I’m wild about laying even a minimal number with the Chiefs, but that’s the side I’ll favor here. It’s strictly a case of situational analysis. KC is off a humiliating home loss last week as they were annihilated by the Broncos. That was embarrassing even for a really awful team like the Chiefs and I expect them to play very hard here.
On the flip side, the Browns just win their Super Bowl. Defeating the Steelers last week was a huge win for this brutally inept outfit, and that sets up a major dead spot for Cleveland here. The fact this is probably now a lame duck staff with the Mike Holmgren rumors swirling doesn’t exactly make for great focus, either. I’ll side with the Chiefs to notch the win and cover.
