These are couple drivers that are bringing some pretty good chassis’ based on past experience. Kyle Busch is using his runner-up car from Charlotte last year that led the most laps. Jimmie Johnson is also bringing his car from that Charlotte race that finished third. The driver who that race, Jamie McMurray, will be using a brand new car this week. Kevin Harvick is driving the third-place car from the season finale in Homestead while teammate Clint Bowyer is using his runner-up chassis from Fontana. An interesting back-up car is that of David Ragan’s who has Carl Edwards winning Phoenix car in his hauler. Ragan’s primary car is brand new.
