It was hard to gauge what we saw in practices because they were so different with one going Thursday, another on Friday and then qualifying.....What I take the most out of it all is that I'm using a lot of data -- more so than normal -- on what cars each team is bringing, how the teams fared in las Vegas and California and than factoring all that into the equation almost as an equal to what happened in practice...........The best overall looks to be Carl Edwards and when you throw in his great performance at las Vegas and California, it makes him really stand out above the rest.............The driver I can see really surprising everyone is Juan Pablo Montoya who will be using the same car this week that finished third in Las Vegas. Montoya also had strong average and single lap times during practices. Good Luck, and enjoy the NASCAR race, Texas Style!
