I could babble on about how Dale Earnhardt Jr was fastest in the final practice session, but it really is pointless, because it doesn't mean a thing. There is nothing to be gained from practices. Some of the teams don't even use their allotted practice time -- only 32 drivers practiced in the final session. If there is nothing to be gained from the teams themselves, then there's nothing for me, either.
