Joe Williams came aboard at VegasInsider.com in 2011 and quickly made a splash. Williams was the overall money leader in the NHL in his initial season with VI, and also took first place on totals, while placing third on guaranteed picks.
Williams is not a one-trick pony, however, after working in the sports industry dating back to 1999. He has offered analysis of college and pro basketball, college and pro football, baseball, golf, racing and soccer. Of course, his first love is hockey.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Williams spent a majority of his life in the South Florida area before relocating to the heart of ACC country near Raleigh, N.C. He spends his free time with his two boys, teaching them the basics of sports. Las Vegas also holds a special spot in his heart, as it is not only a big part of his work, but where he married his wife, and friend for over a decade.
