So far through the first 3 weeks of the NFL regular season I have to say that it has been a battle of mediocraty. I see only one dominating-type team (of course the Patriots) and a bunch of .500 clubs.
Seriously how many clubs can we say are actually good?
Indy is the only other team that I can say is a good one. That's of couse due to the great offense. The defense shows up when they want to.
San Diego, Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Denver, Chicago, Dallas, and New Orleans all are teams that have glaring holes and weaknesses. I'm sure some of these will put it together and make a nice run. But if I'm the NFL I'm worried about the overall product. So many bad clubs and not a whole lot of matchups appear eventfull. Take a look at Week 4's schedule. How many games can you point out and say you would watch it even if you didn't bet on it?
Surprised?
