As we sit here today the Phillies are 2.5 games back for the division lead, and 1/2
game back for the Wild Card.
No question they have shown a lot of heart and soul after facing so many obstacles throughout the season.
They lost their "Ace" F.Garcia and J.leber before the year got rolling. So many have been
on the disabled list you wouldn't blame them have they packed it in a long time ago.
One thing for sure (which may be good or bad) they saved Manager C.Manuels job.
He's not the sharpest tool in the shed that's for sure. But he's a tough guy and his team seems
to have picked up his personality. Whatever happens this season, the Phillies have
shown a lot regardless.
