Well the Dallas Cowboys pull off a miracle in Buffalo, to make their upcoming home game vs New England a battle of two of the three undefeateds.
It just makes me wonder how these clubs (including Indianapolis) compare to the powerhouses of the 90's?
I'm talking about the Cowboy's, 49ers, Packers, and even the Broncos.
Well only the Patriots deserve to be. And that remains to be seen. The aforementioned were great all-around teams with no weaknesses. That's the difference between now and then.
Now we don't seem to have great teams for one reason or another. Some blame it on free agency which doesn't really make sense. It was alive and well back then. Remember R.White and D.Sanders?
When the Cowboy's and 49ers met during the regular season it was a HUGE event! You knew J.Madden and P.Summerall were going to be there and that it was going to be a special matchup. Do we feel that now this week? Maybe when the undefeated Patriots take on the undefeated Colts later down the road?
I don't know. The NFL is missing something nowadays. Too many bad teams, and not enough great ones.
