It's one thing to unload players because you simply don't want to pay what they will command. But it's another thing alltogether when you see MLB clubs year in and year out let players go due to salary.
It's so sad for MLB that the Oakland A's every summer it seems give away great starting pitching. Because they can't afford to keep them. It's a broken record for them. Cleveland let Sabathia go due to the salary demands he has been asking for. And they got something instead of nothing.
Milwaukee will not only lose Sabathia come winter. But also B.Sheets is going to be history as well. It's a joke and a shame for the league.
Maybe someday the playing field will be even like the NFL and NBA do their best to accomplish. MLB needs to get with the program. They may have 30 teams, but the way the league is structured. It's more like 10.
