As we now enter early June, if you head into your local book store or take a look at the newsstands. You'll see the football preview magazines are starting to come out.
I remember not too many years back, that they would be released in early July at the earliest.
I, like many of you enjoy reading these, but do so with caution. Many of these become so stale as far as information goes, you must treat these as basic as you can. A sort of "football 101" if you will.
Many of the team previews (college and pro) are written by team beat writers. So depending on the person. You may get a great or harsh preview. Take them with a grain of salt. And then some are written by guys who actually know what their talking about.
The list goes on, from PFW, Lindy's, Phil Steele's, The Sporting News, to name a few. It's fun to get into them. But remember, nothing takes the place of your own research and hard work. I mean nothing.
