The Breeders' Cup is coming up fast, set for Nov.2-3 at Santa Anita Park, and after last weekend's dozen "Win and You're In' races there are still plenty to be run.
There are still 20 Breeders' Cup Challenge races in which the winners earn an automatic starting sport in the corresponding Breeders' Cup race.
It will be a big weekend at Keeneland, which opens on Friday. There are seven races with Breeders' Cup implications coming up over the first three days of the meeting.
In addition we have the Champagne and Frizette or juveniles at Belmont Park on Saturday, and Santa Anita hosts the Santa Anita Sprint Championship, which likely will produce a few runners for the Breeders' Cup Sprint.
The Breeders' Cup announced the wagering menu and post times for the two day championship event and there will be a wide variety of betting options that will satisfy any horseplayer.
The first Championships race on Breeders' Cup Friday is scheduled to be the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint (1:06 p.m. Pacific Time), followed by the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Marathon (1:48 p.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (2:28 p.m.); $2 million Breeders' Cup Grey Goose Juvenile Fillies (3:08 p.m.); $2 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (3:48 p.m.) and the $2 million Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (4:30 p.m.). There will be an Ultra Pick Six wager on the six Friday Breeders' Cup races with a guaranteed gross pool of $1,000,000.
On Championship Saturday, first post time is 10:05 a.m. Pacific Time, starting with the Damascus Stakes, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Preview and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Filly Sprint Preview. The tentative order of Breeders' Cup races is as follows: $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (11:50 a.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (12:35 p.m.); $1.5 million Xpressbet Breeders' Cup Sprint (1:14 p.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (1:57 p.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (2:36 p.m.); $3 million Breeders' Cup Turf (3:18 p.m.); $2 million Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile (3:58 p.m.); $2 million Breeders' Cup Mile (4:40 p.m.) and the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic (5:30 p.m.). There will be an Ultra Pick Six wager with a guaranteed gross pool of $2 million on the Saturday program beginning with the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint and concluding with the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Analysis: Hardrocker gets the call and here is a 30% chance of rain today and some rain fell yesterday but I am hoping we stick to the grass today. Our top pick stalked the early pace and made a mild late rally to finish fourth last out at this level in his first start off the claim by the Englehart barn. Two back he was a solid second despite having to steady off heels of a foe at the 3/16's. The winner and fifth place finisher came out of the race to win next out. He has had a habit of landing in the bottom half of the exacta, but makes just his second start for a sharp claiming barn and Ramon takes over.
Saturday's for Fun makes his first start off a two month break and drops into a softer spot here after taking on Alw-1 foes last out where he checked in eighth over ground labeled as good. His last few speed figs are a good fit here and the Tagg barn looks if he has him well spotted here dropping in for a $35K tag and facing non-winners of two or three year olds. He has gone off at 20-1 or higher in three of his last four starts and the price is going to be a lot lighter here. This guy has a solid off track pedigree and would fit here if the rains come and this race is washed out to the main track.

Analysis: Pinch Pie comes back off a two month break and shortens up to seven furlongs here for the Tony D. barn. She did not seem to want any part of going 1 1/2 miles last out and two back was in tough in Grade 3 company at Philly that drew a really good field. Three back she ran well in a runner up finish in the Violet (G3) at Monmouth Park, beaten just a length for the top spot. She has won 4 of her 10 career starts on turf and she seems to have the screws tight with a couple of quick morning works. The barn is 27% winners moving runners from route to sprint.
Future Generation is one of two in here sent out by the Clement barn. She won a Group 3 last year in Ireland and won her U.S. debut against a solid field of allowance foes two back off a 5 1/2 month layoff. Last out she finished evenly in a fourth place finish in the Honey Fox (G2) going a mile at Gulfstream Park. A couple of runners came out of that race to win next out and the winner Tapitsly won the Just a Game (G1) in June. She looks like a good fit here and is in good hands with the Clement barn that is 27% winners (with a +ROI) with runners coming back off a +180 day layoff.
