Den's Legacy, Travesura win Hollywood Park races

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Den's Legacy and Travesura raced to half-length victories in a pair of $100,000 races at Betfair Hollywood Park on Saturday.
Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Den's Legacy covered a mile in 1:36.32 to win the Generous Stakes for 2-year-olds. He paid $4.60, $3 and $2.40. Rising Legend returned $4.40 and $3.40, and Shining Copper paid $4.40 to show.
The win was Gomez's fifth since Friday, which included the $250,000 Citation Handicap with Data Link.
``I knew this horse would go through wherever I pointed him,'' Gomez said of Den's Legacy. ``He was hitting the hole that wasn't there yet.''
Meanwhile, Travesura held off 9-1 shot Pussycat Lips and 5-2 second choice Flashy Ways to win the Miesque Stakes for fillies. Ridden by Tyler Baze, Travesura ran the mile in 1:37.01 and paid $24.80, $8.40 and $6.20. Pussycat Lips returned $10.20 and $5.60, and Flashy Ways paid $3.40 to show.
``I knew she would be tough today,'' Baze said. ``This is a nice filly. Bigger and better things maybe.''
