SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - I Spent It beat Mr. Z by 2 3/4 lengths Sunday in the Grade 2 $200,000 Saratoga Special at Saratoga Race Course.

The 2-year-old son of 2010 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.79 under meet-leading jockey Javier Castellano, and paid $7.80, $4.50 and $3.10.

Mr. Z returned $4.30 and $2.90, and W V Jetsetter paid $5.30 to show.

I Spent It's victory was the second in a juvenile stakes at the meet for trainer Tony Dutrow. He captured the Grade 2, $150,000 Sanford on July 19 with Big Trouble, whose promising 2-year-old season ended 2 1/2 weeks later because of a torn suspensory ligament.

In Sunday's co-feature, Cavorting rallied to beat Angela Renee by 1 3/4 lengths in the Grade 2 $200,000 Adirondack.

Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr. for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, the 2-year-old daughter of champion Bernardini ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.49 and paid $9.50, $4.30 and $3.10.

Angela Renee returned $3.20 and $2.50, and Wonder Gal paid $2.70 to show.

It was the second win in two starts for Cavorting and third in the Adirondack for owner Stonestreet Stables, following My Miss Aurelia in 2011 and Kauai Katie in 2012.

Both I Spent It and Cavorting earned a $100,000 bonus as part of a New York Racing Association program for juveniles that break their maiden at Aqueduct or Belmont Park and win a graded stakes race at Saratoga during the calendar year.
