We have a huge weekend coming up with 14 Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” races starting with a pair on Friday at Keeneland and we have a little race called the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) in France on Sunday that will likely produce a few starters for the Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1).

I will have a special Best Plays Report on Friday that will include the stakes action from Keeneland along with my strongest plays from Belmont Park.

Friday’s $250,000 Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix (G2) drew a field of six with the winner earning a free ticket to the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1).

H. Allen Jerkens (G1) winner Promises Fulfilled is the 8-5 morning line favorite. He faces several tough foes including Forego (G1) winner and third place finishers Whitmore and Limousine Liberal.

The $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1) drew a full field and is a prep race for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Restless Rider is the 3-1 morning line favorite and is coming off a runner up finish in the Spinaway (G1) at Saratoga going seven furlongs.

Saturday’s card at Keeneland features four Breeders’ Cup Challenge races including the $1 million Shadwell Turf Mile (G1).

Also on the card is the $500,000 Breeders’ Futurity (G1) which along with the $500,000 Champagne (G1) at Belmont Park is not only a major prep for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) it gives us a good look at a few Kentucky Derby (G1) hopefuls.

Here is the opener from Belmont Park to get the day off to a good start:

Analysis: Miss Nancy stalked the early pace and made a mild late rally to finish third last out against $25,000 over yielding turf at the Spa. The mare is back on the main track here in her first start for the Englehart barn that is 14% winners first off the claim. The barn is 25% winners moving runners from turf to dirt. She catches a weak looking group here.

Gypsy Janie stalked the early pace, had to steady briefly behind a foe and made a mild bid to finish third against $40,000 foes in her first go off the claim by the Englehart barn. She drops in here for a $20,000 tag and has been competitive versus tougher, beating $50,000 starter allowance foes here in the slop back in May.

Analysis: Adonis Creed looked headed to victory but veered in slightly and may have shied away from the rail, ducking out and dumping Paco in the stretch as the 9-5 favorite at Monmouth Park against Alw-2 optional claimers. Two back at the Spa going 1 3/8 miles over good ground he set the early fractions and weakened in the stretch to finish seventh with the top pair next out winners. He looks well spotted here dropping in for a $50,000 tag and facing non-winners of three as well as cutting back to a mile.

Acoustic was off poorly when bobbling at the break a and getting bumped around and managed to make a good late rally to finish in the runner up spot against $35,000 non-winners of three in his second start off the claim by the Servis barn. He was a good second two back at the same level in his first go off the claim. He comes in here with matching career tops and while he steps up to $50,000 these are no tougher. He is 0 for 8 at this condition this year which is a knock but is in a sharp barn and should get an honest pace to track.
