Nehantic Kat wins Sabellina Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) -Nehantic Kat powered to a four-length victory over Absoulute Heaven Thursday in the $70,500 Sabellina Stakes for New York-bred fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
The 4-5 favorite, Nehantic Kat earned her fifth win in 12 starts, running the 1 1-6 miles in 1:44.70 on the yielding turf.
Rajiv Maragh was aboard for trainer Barclay Tagg as Nehantic Kat paid $3.60, $2.30 and $2.10. Absoulute Heaven returned $3.10 and $2.70. One in a Romp paid $4.70 to show.
