Blues Street wins Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) -Blues Street rallied for a 1 1/2-length win over Valtrus on Friday in the $50,000 allowance feature on turf at Aqueduct.
Trainer Todd Pletcher took the blinkers off Blues Street and the 5-year-old gelding responded with his first win in six starts. John Velazquez was aboard as Blues Street ran the mile on a firm course in 1:37.13.
Blues Street paid $7.90, $4.50 and $3.30. Valtrus returned $9.30 and $5.20. Cliff Meadows paid $8.20 to show.
Earlier, jockey Ramon Dominguez got his 341st win in New York, breaking a tie with Angel Cordero Jr. for second place in victories in one season at Aqueduct, Belmont Park and Saratoga.
With the win on Freight Forward, Dominguez trails only Steve Cauthen, who rang up 433 victories in 1977.
