July 30 Del Mar Pick Pack produced six winners from the nine race program. Of those six winners there was only one winner that was a top pick winner at $4.40, but there were redemptions throughout the card that made it a successful day. It included, but was not limited to, the feature race where I had Pure As Gold ($48.20) with Jon Court riding. That set up an exacta worth $75.00 and a double worth $194.80 Worth the price of admission.
July 24 Pick Pack for Del Mar produced six winners from the eight race program. Of those six winners there were two winners that were top pick winners; $4.60 and $4.00. Mahalik started of the card with a top pick and two second choices that produced two doubles at $57.80 and $89.20, and one Pick 3 at $137.70. There were two exactas at $11.30 and $60.90 and two trifectas at $60.90 and $299.80. The rest of the card was just so-so.
July 21 Del Mar Pick Pack produced four winners from the eight race program. Of those five winners there was one winner that was a top pick winner; $19.00. The return on investment for top picks alone was 18 percent.
July 20 Del Mar Pick Pack produced five winners from the nine race program. Of those five winners there were four winners that were top pick winners; $7.60, $3.40, $8.40, and $9.60. The return on investment for top picks alone was 61 percent. Mahalik designated three horses as Mortal Locks. Two of the three Mortal Locks won producing a ROI of 96 percent. He solved four of the seven doubles at $13.40, $20.00, $23.20, and $18.80, and three Pick 3s at $48.50, $22.70, and $61.00. Mahalik is 3/3 at Del Mar with the last Pick 4 of the day and this time the price was $111.00.
July 19 The Wednesday, July 19, 2006 Del Mar Pick Pack produced seven winners from the nine race program. Of those seven winners there were three winners that were top pick winners; $7.00, $3.80, and $9.20. The return on investment for top pick winners alone was 11 percent. Mahalik solved five of the eight doubles at $14.80, $26.00, $22.40, $36.20, and $77.00, and four Pick 3s at $55.00, $28.40, $92.70, and $91.90. And once again Mahalik brought home the second Pick 4 of the day at $434.30.
July 16 Hollywood Park Pick Pack produced eight winners from the 10-race program. Of those eight winners there were three winners that were top pick winners; $11.40, $16.80, and $4.60. The return on investment for top picks alone was 64 percent. Mahalik solved six of the nine doubles at $41.00, $32.20, $121.80, $26.60, $14.80, and $23.60. He also solved four Pick 3s at $79.00, $122.80, $46.20, and $33.50. Mahalik finished off the day with a $180.00 Pick 4. The last half of the card was perfect.
July 15 Hollywood Park Pick Pack produced six winners from the nine race program. Of those six winners there were three winners that were top pick winners; $6.80, $4.00, and $10.20. The return on investment for top picks alone was 16 percent. There were three doubles using Mahalik’s top three at $16.80, $20.40, and $104.60/$39.20 (dead heat). There were five exactas at $13.40, $7.60 (cold), $5.00, $13.20, and $9.80. There were four trifectas at $10.40, $13.10, $72.10, and $26.20/$176.50 (dead heat).
