SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Jonathan Sanchez is not quite ready for the season.

Could have fooled the Los Angeles Angels.

Sanchez gave up only one hit in six innings to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 4-0 victory over the Angels on Thursday night.

``I am not 100 percent yet, but I am almost there,' Sanchez said.

Sanchez only gave up Chris Pettit's sharp grounder off the glove of shortstop Miguel Tejada in the first inning. The left-hander struck out five, walked one and hit a batter with a pitch.

Pablo Sandoval and Pat Burrell each had a run-scoring double in San Francisco's three-run fourth against Dan Haren.

Haren pitched another inning and went five in all, giving up three runs on four hits with five strikeouts.

``I'm getting there, still some work to do,' Haren said. ``I still have two more outings and I'm sure by then I'll definitely be ready to go. I got up with a few pitches, just kind of got out of my rhythm there for a little bit. I left a few pitches up out over the plate, especially the one to Tejada.

``It's pretty simple, you get behind in the count, leave balls up, you're going to get hit.'

Angels manager Mike Scioscia wasn't concerned.

``The stuff is really coming together,' he said.

Giants closer Brian Wilson, wearing green St. Patrick's Day spikes, pitched a scoreless seventh inning, walking one batter.

NOTES: Freddy Sanchez drove in Torres with a single in the eighth inning. ... Giants RHP Matt Cain is scheduled to pitch in a minor-league game Friday at the Giants' minor-league facility. ... Giants manager Bruce Bochy plans to rest a lot of his regulars, many who played Thursday, for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. ... Angels OF Torii Hunter was sent home from the team workout Thursday due to illness.
