HOUSTON (AP) - Kameron Loe got two quick outs to start the ninth inning and then got wild.

Loe walked two straight batters and it cost him when he gave up a game-winning single to Jason Bourgeois that sent the Houston Astros over the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 Saturday night.

Loe (2-2) hadn't allowed a run in his last five appearances covering 4 1-3 innings.

``My ball was moving a ton tonight,' Loe said. ``To get the two outs like that and walk two in a row. To walk one guy in that situation is bad, but to walk two in a row is not good. I could say a lot of things, but there's no excuse to walk two in that situation.'

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke didn't know what happened to Loe.

``Sometimes they get a little wild,' Roenicke said. ``After the first two outs, I thought he was doing all right. I didn't know if he was picking so much. I think sometimes you just get in a little funk. He's been so good, it's just ... one of those times. That last pitch he threw was a good sinker down low. The guy just did a good job hitting it.'

Loe said the pitch he threw to Bourgeois wasn't exactly where he wanted it, but it was a tough pitch to hit.

``I wanted it in off the plate, and it kind of started away and came back,' Loe said. ``He still had to go down and get it. He hit a good pitch.'

The Brewers were given the chance to send the game to extra innings only after Prince Fielder hit a solo home run in the ninth off Brandon Lyon (3-1). Before Fielder's shot, Houston starter Wandy Rodriguez held the team scoreless.

``I know he's been tough,' Roenicke said. ``Tonight he hit his spots. He has a great curveball he can throw at any count. He normally keeps it down low. We got some hits off him and had a couple chances. (Ryan) Braun had a couple doubles there that gave us a chance. He's a good pitcher. He mixes it up well and not afraid to throw the fastball in or out.'

Braun praised Rodriguez, who threw eight scoreless innings allowing seven hits and striking out six.

``Wandy has been one of the better pitchers in the National League the last couple years,' Braun said. ``He has the ability that when he gets into trouble he can really make pitches. We saw that tonight, but he needed to make every pitch that he did.'

Brewers starter Randy Wolf dueled with Rodriguez for seven innings. Wolf allowed a run on four hits with four strikeouts and two walks, but Wolf pointed to the first where he allowed Bourgeois to steal second and third and score, as the only inning he was unhappy about.

``He got too good of a lead, and he stole two bases there - and walking (Angel) Sanchez,' Wolf said. ``Those two things allowed the first inning to happen. Fortunately, I got (Carlos) Lee and (Chris) Johnson to pop up there. It could have been a lot worse.'

Roenicke was happy with his starter.

``Wolf was outstanding again,' he said. ``He was spotting his fastball well. He was throwing the cutters in and opened up the nice curveball. He threw a couple nice changeups, too, so he threw the ball great (but) not as good as Wandy.'

NOTES: Milwaukee RHP Zack Greinke, who began the season on the disabled list with a broken rib, will come off the disabled list and start on Wednesday at Atlanta. ... The return of Milwaukee RHP Takashi Saito, who is on the disabled list with a left hamstring injury, will be pushed back after he strained his left side in a rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Nashville.
