PHOENIX (AP) -By now, Randy Wolf has become accustomed to spending his spring in a new home.

``I've done it a few times already. You kind of get used to it,' said Wolf, who threw two innings of one-hit baseball in the Milwaukee Brewers' 12-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Saturday . ``It's nice to get out there.'

Milwaukee is the fourth team he started a season with - the Dodgers twice - since his last of eight seasons in Philadelphia in 2006. The next season he was in Los Angeles, then '08 with the Padres before returning to the Dodgers last year, where he was 11-7 with a 3.23 ERA in 34 starts.

Wolf allowed only Nate Schierholtz's two-out double off the right-field wall in the first inning. He struck out two and did not walk a hitter.

``When I get out there my main goal is to throw strikes,' Wolf said. ``I'm still trying to throw good sequences, but you want to get ready for the season and get guys out and you can't do that unless you throw strikes.'

Also making his first appearance was Brewers left-hander Chris Capuano, who has not thrown in the major leagues since 2007 because of consecutive Tommy John elbow ligament replacement operations. Capuano struck out the first two batters he faced and finished with two scoreless innings.

Ryan Braun, Alcedis Escobar, Chris Errecart and Erik Komatsu homered for the Brewers.

Center fielder Andres Torres doubled and triples in three at_bats for San Francisco, which lost for the first time this spring.

Eric Hacker, the Giants' second pitcher, walked Jim Edmonds and hit Matt Treanor with a pitch before Escobar homered to left-center field to break a 1-all tie. Eric Farris singled and later came home on a wild pitch by Byung-Hyun Kim, who then allowed Braun's towering shot to left to make it 6-1.

Giants starter Kevin Pucetas allowed one hit in three innings with a strikeout.

``I thought he threw the ball real well,' said Giants bench coach Ron Wotus, who managed the split squad. ``For early in spring baseball he had really good location.'

NOTES: Neither team's manager was at the stadium, opting instead to watch their squad's other game. Brewers RHP Josh Butler will be sidelines for the next five days with inflammation in his right elbow. He also received a cortisone shot in the elbow on Saturday. Milwaukee OF Trent Oeltjen, who left Friday's game after he was hit on the wrist with a pitch, does not have a fracture and remains day to day.
