PHOENIX (AP) -Milwaukee pitcher Manny Parra is still trying to fine-tune his mechanics.

Parra allowed three runs, five hits and two walks over four innings, but the Brewers rallied from an early three-run deficit to beat the Cleveland Indians 7-5 on Thursday.

``I was off,' said Parra, who struck out three. ``My arm wasn't catching up with my body and I was getting out in front. I've got to figure out why it was a little off today. My arm felt lazy today and you can't keep the ball down like that.'

After starting the spring with six scoreless innings over two appearances, the left-hander has yielded six runs and 12 hits with three walks in seven innings over his past two starts.

``It's good to have some bumps in spring training so you can learn from them,' Parra said. ``It's got to be better than that. It has to.'

J.J. Hardy was 2-for-2 with a double, triple and two RBIs, and Corey Hart homered for the Brewers, who won for the fourth time in five games.

David Dellucci homered for the Indians, winless in three games against Milwaukee this spring.

Aaron Laffey, one of a handful of candidates for the final spot in the Indians' rotation, allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and three strikeouts in four innings. Laffey didn't allow a hit and faced only one batter more than the minimum over the first three innings before tiring in the fourth and giving up three runs.

``He started to elevate the ball that last inning and was able to work through it,' Cleveland manager Eric Wegde said. ``You've got to work that, work through the bumps you go through in spring training.'

Cleveland led 4-3 heading into the bottom of the fifth but Hardy hit an RBI triple and Hart added a three-run homer to give the Brewers a 7-4 lead.

Relief pitcher Wes Littleton, claimed Tuesday off waivers from Boston, threw a perfect inning against the Indians.

``He threw strikes,' Brewers manager Ken Macha said. ``One of the reasons he came over here was he wasn't throwing strikes.'

Notes: Milwaukee LF Chris Duffy left after two innings with nausea and an upset stomach. ... The Brewers returned right-hander Eduardo Morlan to Tampa Bay. Milwaukee had tried without success to work out a deal that would allow them to send Morlan, a Rule 5 draft pick, to the minors, but the Rays chose to reacquire the pitcher. Morlan had been designated for assignment earlier in the week to clear a roster spot for Littleton. ... Milwaukee sent catcher Jonathan Lucroy, outfielder Lorenzo Cain and first baseman Scott Thorman to minor league camp. ... The Indians made a round of cuts that reduced their spring roster by 15 players.
