SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Carlos Gonzalez had two hits and drove in three runs and Jorge De La Rosa struck out eight in six innings in the Colorado Rockies' 6-5 victory over the Seattle Mariners 6-5 on Wednesday night.

De La Rosa allowed three runs on four hits and didn't walk a batter.

Ryan Spilborghs drove in two runs and Troy Tulowitzki added an RBI for the Rockies.

``It had a lot of resemblance to games we played last year,' manager Jim Tracy said. ``With two strikes, we put the ball in play. That signifies an understanding of where we came up short last year.'

De La Rosa, coming off a poor start in a minor league start in his last outing, allowed three runs on four hits and didn't walk a batter.

``This time when I pounded the strike zone I did it with quality pitches,' De La Rosa said. ``The last time I threw strikes but they were over the middle of the plate. I'm ready to throw a 100 pitches.'

Ryan Langerhans had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs for the Mariners, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

``Ryan is having a fantastic spring,' Mariners' manager Eric Wedge said. ``He's put himself into a good position to hit the baseball and he's been playing all over the place. He has some major-league experience and he can hit.'

Josh Bard, Michael Saunders and Jack Cust also drove in runs for the Mariners.

Luke French, who allowed one earned run in his previous 10 innings, gave up five runs on five hits, all in the third inning. He walked one and struck out one.

``He got the ball up in the third inning but he has experience as a starter and we want to continue to work with him,' Wedge said.

NOTES: The Mariners optioned IF Dustin Ackley to Triple-A Tacoma and reassigned C Steven Baron, INF Sean Kazmar, OF Gabe Gross and LHP Fabio Castro to their minor league camp. ... Seattle C Miguel Olivo (groin) played three innings in a minor league game, his first appearance since March 5. ... The game attracted a sellout crowd of 12,261, the seventh consecutive sellout in Rockies' home games. ... Tracy said the Rockies will carry 12 pitchers when the season starts. He also said IF Eric Young Jr. would see some action in center field.
