``I got my pitch count up, threw good fastballs, good sliders finally, didn't use the changeup too much today, but it was good,' Johnson said. ``My timing was a little bit off at times, but it will work itself out eventually.'

Sean West, Logan Kensing and Renyel Pinto each pitched a scoreless inning for the Marlins.

Nationals second baseman Ronnie Belliard left the game in the fourth inning with a sprained left ankle. He was injured running to first base. He will be reevaluated Thursday. Lastings Milledge also was injured. He left in the ninth after bruising his left knee on in a close play at first base.

Bonifacio, the Marlins leadoff hitter, had two triples, a double, a single and drove in four runs.

``He's an exciting looking ball player, Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez said. ``He puts the ball in play and makes things happen. I like those types of players. Something good's going to happen when they're at the plate. He can do things for us to help us win ball games.'

Nationals starter Scott Olsen, who pitched against his former team for the first time since being traded during the offseason, allowed four runs on five hits while striking out three, walking two and hitting Jeremy Hermida twice with pitches.

``The results aren't what I would like, but that might be the best I've thrown so far this spring,' Olsen said. ``I had some good break on some sliders, the ball was down the majority of the time. I'm not 100 percent yet, but I'm getting there start by start.'

Jason Bergmann pitched two scoreless innings for the Nationals.

Josh Willingham, who was traded along with Olsen to the Nationals, singled and walked against his former team.

``We'll be seeing him in a different uniform for six different series this year, so well get used to that, Gonzalez said.
