JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -David Wright homered and drove in three runs Friday, continuing his solid spring training for the New York Mets.

Wright hit a solo drive in the third inning for his fourth homer as the Mets and Florida Marlins played to an 8-8 tie, calling it off after neither team scored in the 10th.

Nelson Figueroa had his worst outing of the spring for New York, allowing seven runs and eight hits in 2 2-3 innings.

``I'll take this, ball it up, throw it in the garbage and start over tomorrow,' Figueroa said.

Wright's shot made it 5-0 but Florida scored eight runs in the bottom half of the third.

Marlins right-hander Hayden Penn allowed five runs in three innings while subbing for Josh Johnson, who was scratched with flulike symptoms that have sickened several of his teammates this spring.

Johnson, who signed a $39 million, four-year contract in January, is scheduled to start the season opener against the Mets on April 5. But manager Fredi Gonzalez left open the possibility of moving Johnson back if his recovery from the flu takes too long.

``If it takes him three days like it did everybody else, we may have to do something but let's not get ahead of ourselves,' Gonzalez said.

Chris Coghlan went 2 for 4 with a triple for the Marlins. The reigning National League Rookie of the Year is batting .373 this spring.

NOTES: LHP Andrew Miller was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans, setting up an all-righty rotation for the Marlins. RHP Clay Hensley, who is scheduled to start on Saturday, is the favorite to win the fifth spot. Right fielder Cody Ross, out since Tuesday with a right calf cramp, will try to bat four times as the designated hitter in a minor league game Saturday.
