PHOENIX (AP) - Justin Upton snapped a 14-game homerless drought and had four hits to help the Atlanta Braves rout the Diamondbacks 10-1 on Monday night in his return to Arizona.

Upton, the first overall pick by Arizona in the 2005 amateur draft, was playing his first game at Chase Field since the offseason trade that sent him and third baseman Chris Johnson to Atlanta in a seven-player deal.

Upton followed his brother B.J., who was hit on the left shoulder by Wade Miley (3-2) to lead off the sixth, and powered a fastball onto the porch above the center field fence for his 13th home run and first since April 27 at Detroit.

Johnson hit a two-run homer to cap Atlanta's three-run fifth and Brian McCann also homered for the Braves, who ended a three-game losing streak.

Braves starter Mike Minor (5-2) allowed one run on eight hits over 6 2-3 innings.

NATIONALS 6, DODGERS 2

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jordan Zimmermann won his NL and major league-leading seventh game, Ryan Zimmerman drove in three runs and the Nationals defeated the Dodgers after losing Bryce Harper in a violent collision with the wall in right field.

Zimmermann (7-1) allowed nine hits and two runs in 7 2/3 innings, struck out five and walked none.

Harper left the game in the fifth after hitting the scoreboard wall face-first while tracking a ball hit by A.J. Ellis over his left shoulder. He never looked at the wall and when he finally turned, he was on top of it. The impact sent Harper's cap flying as he bounced off the wall and crumpled to the ground, with Ellis getting a triple.

Harper rolled onto his back and eventually got up under his own power. Streaks of blood were evident on his neck as he walked off the field. There was no immediate update on his condition before the game ended.

He was playing just his second game after missing two with an ingrown toenail that required surgery.

Josh Beckett (0-5) gave up four runs - two earned - and three hits in three innings while striking out five and walking two.

CUBS 9, ROCKIES 1

CHICAGO (AP) - Travis Wood pitched seven scoreless innings and the Cubs came within two outs of their first shutout since last August in a win over the Rockies.

Alfonso Soriano homered for Chicago, which has won three straight for the second time this season. The Cubs' 14 hits were one short of a season high.

Josh Rutledge hit a home run off Carlos Marmol with one out in the ninth, ruining the Cubs' bid for their first shutout win since they beat Colorado on Aug. 26. The Cubs have gone 74 games between shutouts, their longest streak since going 75 in a row from May 15 until Aug. 6, 1999, according to STATS.

Wood (4-2) allowed two hits while striking out two for his major league-leading eighth quality start. He's the first Cubs pitcher since Hippo Vaughn in 1919 to start with eight quality starts.

CARDINALS 6, METS 3

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Lance Lynn overcame early control woes and St. Louis used a three-run seventh inning to beat the Mets.

Lynn (6-1) allowed three runs on three hits and four walks the first two innings. He only gave up one hit and one walk in his last five innings. He is 4-0 at home this season.

Rick Ankiel, signed by the Mets earlier in the day after clearing waivers and playing against the team that revived his career as a position player, just missed a diving catch on Ty Wigginton's pinch-hit bloop double to shallow center off Scott Rice (1-3) to open the seventh.

Matt Carpenter followed Wigginton's hit with a sharp grounder off Rice's leg and the ball rolled into foul territory down the first-base line. Wigginton never stopped running and his head-first slide barely beat the tag to snap a 3-3 tie.

BREWERS 5, PIRATES 1

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Marco Estrada allowed three hits over seven innings and the Brewers beat the sloppy Pirates to snap a four-game losing streak.

Norichika Aoki went 3 for 5 with three RBIs and two stolen bases for the Brewers. Jean Segura added three hits and three stolen bases as Milwaukee ran wild against Pittsburgh backup catcher Mike McKenry. The Brewers stole six bases in all and took advantage of three Pittsburgh errors to win for just the second time this month.

Estrada (3-2) bounced back from a rough start against St. Louis by striking out five and issuing just one walk to remain unbeaten against the Pirates.

Burnett (3-4) allowed four runs in seven innings and pushed his National League-leading strikeout total to 72, but Pittsburgh couldn't extend its winning streak to a season-high four games.
