Rock Steady
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies will continue their series on Wednesday at Coors Field, jockeying for position in the National League West while also trying to keep pace in the Wild-Card race, too. LHP Patrick Corbin will work for Arizona while RHP Jon Gray starts for Colorado. The under is an impressive 9-1 in the past 10 road outings for the D-Backs, while going 7-1-1 in their past nine road outings against a right-handed starter. The Snakes are also 13-3-1 in the past 17 road outings against teams with a winning record and 13-3 in the past 16 against National League West foes.

The under has also cashed an impressive 7-1-1 in Corbin's past nine road outings, while going 5-2 in his past seven against divisional foes and 5-2 in the past seven against teams with a winning record. It doesn't seem normal, but the under is the trend for Colorado lately. The under is 12-3 in Colorado's past 15 at home vs. LHP while going 20-7-1 in their past 28 games at Coors Field overall. In addition, the under is a perfect 9-0 in the past nine home starts by Gray against a team with a winning overall record, while going under in four straight starts by Gray vs. NL West clubs. Overall, the under is 25-10 in the past 35 for the Rockies inside the division. The under is also 4-1 in Corbin's past five road outings against the Rockies.

In addition, as an extra bonus, we'll look at the sides, too. The Diamondbacks have won seven of Corbin's past nine outings, and they're an impressive 7-3 across the past 10 road outings. However, the D-Backs are also 5-11 over his past 16 outings on the road against teams iwth a winning record. They're also a dismal 2-8 in the past 10 starts while working on four days of rest. Arizona heads into the game just 2-5 in the past seven against division foes, and they're 2-6 in the past eight vs. RHP. They're also just 2-7 in the past nine against teams with a winning overall mark.

For whatever reason, Coors Field seems to agree with Gray. The Rockies have managed wins in 10 of his past 12 outings, while going a very impressive 4-1 in his past five against NL West foes, 5-1 in his past six starts at home and 7-1 over his past eight against teams with a winning overall record. They're also 10-4 in his past 14 starts at Coors against tems with a winning overall mark. For the Rockies, they're 12-5 in the past 17 vs. LHP, while going 7-3 in the past 10 inside the division. They're also 13-6 in the past 19 at home against southpaws, too.

Looking Ahead

Wednesday, Sept. 12
Indians RHP Carlos Carrasco and Rays LHP Blake Snell will square off in the series finale in a very good pitching matchup. The under is 5-1 in Cleveland's past six on the road against southpaws, while going 6-2-1 in their past nine overall against lefties. The under is also 12-5-1 in Carrasco's past 18 starts overall against teams with a winning overall record. The over is 4-1 in Tampa's past five home games vs. RHP, while going 4-1 in Snell's past five at home against teams with a winning record. However, the under is 7-2-1 in the past 10 starts by Snell, and 4-0-1 in his past five against AL Central foes. The under is 6-2-1 in the past nine meetings between these teams heading into Wednesday's game, while gong 8-1 in the past nine meetings in St. Petersburg.

The Padres and Mariners do battle at Safeco Field in a battle of southpaws Joey Lucchesi and Wade LeBlanc. The under is 4-1 in Lucchesi's past five road contests, while going 4-1 in his past five away from home against teams with a winning overall record. In addition, the under is 12-5-1 in the past 18 for San Diego against AL West foes. The under is also 4-0-1 in the past five interleague road games, while going 6-1 in the past seven against teams with a winning overall mark. However, the over is 5-2 in the rookie's past seven overall. For Seattle, the under is a perfect 5-0 in the past five outings, and 5-0 in their past five at home, too. Over the past 30 at Safeco for the Mariners, the under is 20-9-1 against southpaws. The under is 7-3 in his past 10 starts overall, and 6-2 in the past eight against teams with a losing overall mark, too. In this series, the over is 5-2-1 in the past eight meetings, but one of those unders was on Tuesday night.

Yankees RHP Luis Severino and Twins RHP Jake Odorizzi will square off at Target Field. It's been all about the over lately with Severino on the hill. The over is 10-2 in his past 12 starts, while going 16-5 in the past 21 starts against AL Central foes and 5-2 in his past seven on the road. In addition, the over is 5-1 in New York's past six against Central clubs, and 5-1 in the past six against teams with a losing overall record. For Minnesota, the under is 5-1 in Odorizzi's past six starts overall, but the over is 4-0 in the past four against AL East clubs. The over is also 7-1 in the past eight meetings in this series, while going 15-6-2 in the past 23 battles at Target Field.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Red Sox LHP Eduardo Rodriguez will work against Blue Jays RHP Sam Gaviglio. The 'under' has connected in seven straight outings for Rodriguez, including the most recent start against Toronto on July 14 before his injury. The under is 5-0 in the past five at home for E-Rod, while going 24-9-1 in his past 34 against AL East clubs. For the Jays, the under is 4-1 in Gaviglio's past five starts on the rad, but the over is 5-2 in his past seven road starts against a team with a winning record. The over is also 3-0-1 in the past four road games vs. LHP.

In the final game of the evening, the Mariners and Angels open up a new series at the Big A. The under has dominated for Seattle lately, but the over is 4-1 in their past five road games and 4-1 in the past five against AL West opponents. For the Halos, the under has cashed in five of the past six against AL West clubs, while going 4-1 in the past five against winning teams. However, the over is 6-2-1 in the past nine meetings in Anaheim, while going 9-4-1 in the past 14 meetings overall in this series.

Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw will battle the Cardinals on Thursday evening. The under is 4-1 in Kershaw's past five road outings, while going 19-6-1 in the past 26 road starts against a team with a winning record. The under is also 42-18-2 in the past 62 by Kershaw against teams with a winning overall mark.

Friday, Sept. 14
Mets LHP Steven Matz will kick off a new series at Fenway Park against the Red Sox. The 'over' is 7-1-1 in his past nine starts, although he has allowed just four earned runs and 11 hits across his past 19 innings over the past three outings, with the total going 1-1-1.

Pirates RHP Chris Archer will work against the Brewers on the road. Since coming over from the Rays at the MLB Trade Deadline, the total is 3-3-1, with a push last time out. The first time he faced Milwaukee at Miller Park on Aug. 26, he was hammered for six earned runs, seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over four innings in a loss as the 'over' connected.

Giants RHP Chris Stratton is expected to face Rockies LHP Tyler Anderson at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The 'under' has cashed in thre in a row for the Giants with Stratton on the hill, as he has given up just six earned runs over 19 innings across the past three starts. As far as Anderson, the 'over' has hit in each of his past three, including his most recent start against San Francisco. He allowed three earned runs, six hits and no walks over 5 1/3 innings against the Giants, but the game ended in a 9-8 victory at Coors on Sept. 3 in a bullpen collapse on both sides.
