Preview: Bucks (15-67) at Raptors (48-34)

The Toronto Raptors have to like their chances of setting a franchise record for victories Monday night.

They'll try to complete their first season sweep of the league-worst Milwaukee Bucks, who are short-handed and in position to match their longest road losing streak in nine seasons.

Toronto (47-33) has already clinched the Atlantic Division but can still gain the No. 3 seed over Chicago. Both teams have two games left entering Monday.

The Raptors matched the club record for wins set in 2000-01 and tied in 2006-07 with Sunday's 116-107 win at Detroit.

"We definitely want to pass that record," forward Amir Johnson said. "We're still playing hard, we're still working on our game for the playoffs so we're still playing for something."

DeMar DeRozan scored 14 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter. The shooting guard is averaging 23.9 points during an 8-2 surge for Toronto.

"I understood if we were going to win the game, then I had to step it up," DeRozan said. "I just tried to make plays for us and get a couple of easy baskets."

Coach Dwane Casey wasn't happy with his frontcourt. Toronto was outrebounded 55-40 and outscored 50-42 in the paint.

"The thing that bothers me more is the rebounding," Casey said. "The kicking our butt in the paint, the physicality, taking advantage of us that way and that's all we've been talking about. Again it's something we've got to correct or it'll be a short stay in the playoffs."

One issue was that Johnson picked up five fouls in 16 minutes in his second game back after missing three with an ankle injury.

"I feel like I'm a step slow and these last two games will be important for me just to sort of pick it up and get my step back," Johnson said.

Milwaukee (15-65) is wrapping up the franchise's worst season and will try to avoid losing 14 straight on the road to close this one like it did in 2004-05.

The Bucks only had eight players available in Saturday's 104-91 loss at Washington. Khris Middleton and Ramon Sessions scored 20 points apiece.

"I was looking down at the end of the bench and I just didn't know, I didn't know who I had, who I didn't have, to be perfectly honest," coach Larry Drew said. "Man, I'm down to the bare minimum right now."

Leading scorer Brandon Knight was scratched with a sore right hip seconds before tipoff. He is questionable against Toronto.

The Raptors dropped 11 straight against the Bucks coming into this season, but have taken the first three meetings in 2013-14.

This contest could be tricky if Toronto turns in another poor effort inside after it was outscored 64-34 in the paint by Milwaukee in the previous meeting, though the Raptors still won 102-98 on April 5.

Greivis Vasquez, who scored a season-high 26 points in that contest for Toronto, played well down the stretch Sunday after starting point guard Kyle Lowry fouled out with 5:51 left.
