With the NCAA Tournament now in the history books, we’re down to the final two weeks of the NBA regular season portion of the schedule. While most punters will be focused on the playoff race, the fact of the matter is there are other proven opportunities to cash in on from now until the final gun sounds.
Listed below are situations that have proven themselves against the test of time during the FINAL FOUR games of the NBA regular season. All results are ATS (Against The Spread) and are since 1991. Check them out…
1) Double Digit Dogs off BB SU and ATS Losses are 26-9-1
• if opponent is off a win they are 17-4
2) Dogs that are 0-3 SU and ATS last three games are 36-15
• if opponent is off BB wins they are 16-5
3) Sub .300 road teams versus an opponent off a win are 36-20
• if opponent is a division foe they are 19-8
4) Home teams off BB wins versus division foe off a win are 33-18
• if host is off BB SU and ATS wins they are 21-5
While it’s not quite the same atmosphere that existed in San Antonio for the NCAA Final Four, it is a nice placebo that should pacify the void between now and the start of the NBA playoffs. Enjoy.
