NFL Power Poll

Tony Mejia continues his coverage on VegasInsider.com this pro football season as a regular contributor. Each week throughout the 2014 campaign, users can view his weekly Division Rankings, Playoff Projections, Super Bowl Prediction and Power Poll.

Playoff Projections

NFC
1) Seattle
2) Philadelphia
3) Detroit
4) New Orleans
5) Arizona
6) San Francisco

AFC
1) Denver
2) Cincinnati
3) New England
4) Indianapolis
5) San Diego
6) Baltimore

Super Bowl XLIX Prediction (2/1/15)

San Francisco over Denver - The 49ers have to stay afloat during the first half of the season, but get to call in the calvary during the season's second half, which is when both games against the Seahawks are scheduled. The drama of agreeing to a new contract with guard Alex Boone should come to a head soon, while both nose tackle Glenn Dorsey, DE Aldon Smith and LB NaVorro Bowman should be back for the final push and in form come postseason. Fresher legs may make the difference against a loaded NFC and in this scenario, Peyton Manning's Broncos.
