NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the New England Patriots by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (5)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 5) - Re-invented offense ... again!! WOW!!!

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 4) - Building momentum with a reliable running game and Tom Brady playing like Tom Brady.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 5)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 4) - A franchise record 35 first downs, including 18 rushing first downs. Patriots are third in rushing. Who would have thought ... an offense that's always evolving.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 6) - Tom Brady's offense in high gear as he gets the best of Peyton Manning yet again. Brady is now 9-4 lifetime against Manning.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) - The Patriots rank a surprising third in the NFL in rushing and lead the league with four individual 100-yard games, including three by Stevan Ridley.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 6) - The Patriots can pass. They can run. They can pile up the yards and first downs. And they can start circling the bases on a soft schedule.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 4) - While defenses focus on stopping Tom Brady, these backs run all over you.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 5) - The Patriot offense just went to a new level with the hurry up no huddle run game. They will wind up leading the league in rushing the way they are headed.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 5) - Balance is the new word in New England as the Patriots feel that could be the difference between getting to Super Bowls and winning Super Bowls!

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 6) - Tom Brady a game-manager? The future Hall of Fame quarterback won't complain after another dominating performance by New England's running game in a 31-21 triumph over Denver.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 5) - They have the most explosive offense in the NFL, and as long as they take care of the football the offense could keep getting better.
