-- Favorites went 9-3 straight up

-- The two underdogs to win outright were the N.Y. Giants (+5 ½, +200) and Oakland Raiders (+2 ½, +130), who beat the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers respectively

-- Favorites went 8-4 against the spread

-- The Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs were the two favorites to win but not cover.

Total Notes

-- The ‘over’ went 8-4

-- After losing to 49-9 to the Bengals, the New York Jets are 0-4 after a win this season and the offense has been held to 10, 13, 6 and 9 points.

-- The Jaguars are 0-8 but they won’t lose next week since they’re on bye. In two weeks, they’ll head to Tennessee.

-- The Chiefs are 2-3 ATS at home and the two covers were closer than the final margin showed against the N.Y. Giants (31-7) and Oakland Raiders (24-7).

-- The Dolphins have dropped four straight after starting the season 3-0. Miami has allowed 20-plus points in six consecutive games.
