Ilya Bryzgalov made 26 saves for the Coyotes, who lost for the third time in four games but failed to earn a point for only the second time in their last 10 games.

Los Angeles scored three times in the final 5:54 of the first period.

Ivanans opened the scoring at 14:06 when he beat Bryzgalov on a wrist shot from the top of the left faceoff circle.

Frolov added a power-play goal at 17:27 when his shot from the high slot deflected off Phoenix defenseman Kurt Sauer and Still capped the scoring with 19.1 seconds to go on a wrist shot from the middle of the right faceoff circle.

Frolov added his second at 9:56 of the second when the puck bounced into the low slot and onto his stick for an easy wrist shot into the right side of the net as Bryzgalov drifted to the left.

Phoenix's best scoring chance came with 2:54 left in the second period when Derek Morris' hard wrist shot from the right point bounced off the left post.

Notes: The Kings matched their largest margin of victory this season, reached twice before, both against St. Louis. ... Frolov has 11 goals in his last 18 games. ... Bryzgalov lost in regulation for the first time since Dec. 7. ... Coyotes backup goalie Mikael Tellqvist took off his baseball cap and put on his mask after the Kings' fourth goal, but Phoenix coach Wayne Gretzky elected to keep him on the bench. ... The Coyotes had not been shut out since a 4-0 loss at Minnesota on Nov. 13.
