Premier League – England

Burnley (+224) woke up in a big way at home as it cruised to a 4-0 win over Bournemouth, the only underdog (+224) to cash in Matchday 6 of the Premier League.

We had three draws posted on Saturday, which included a 1-1 tie (+295) between Wolverhampton and Manchester United.

Liverpool (-555) cruised as a heavy home ‘chalk’ while Manchester City (-666) and Tottenham (-137) earned wins as road favorites.

Four games saw goalies post clean sheets on Saturday, which included a scoreless draw between Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal (-256) captured a 2-0 win over Everton on Sunday and the ‘under’ (3.5) was never in doubt.

Notable Trends

-- Liverpool (6-0) remains the only EPL club to pick up all 18 points.

-- Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town have both started 0-2-4 on the season and both clubs own the same goal differential of minus-11 (3-14) which has them sitting tied for last place.

-- Crystal Palace has watched the ‘under’ go 5-1 and only game has seen more than three combined goals scored.

-- Teams off of European midweek competitions went 4-2-0 over the weekend with Manchester United and Chelsea held to draws.

Bundesliga – Germany

Bayern Munich (-238) and Werder Bremen (+148) captured victories as road favorites.

SC Freiburg (+351) was the largest underdog to cash in Matchday 4 as it defeated Wolfsburg 3-1 on the road.

Hertha Berlin (+179) was another ‘dog to connect as it doubled-up Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 at home. The six goals scored were the highest outcome in Saturday’s action.

Fortuna Dusseldorf didn’t win on Friday but it managed to earn a scoreless draw (+274) at Stuttgart.

Bayer Leverkusen (-175) posted a clean sheet on Sunday with a 1-0 home win over Mainz.

There were three draws last weekend, the last tie (+261) occurring on Sunday (1-1) between RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Notable Trends

-- Bayern Munich sits at 4-0 with an impressive goal differential mark (11-2). Their latest win came against Schalke 04, who has started 0-4.

-- Freiburg has watched the ‘over’ cash in its last three games with the team scoring and allowing exactly seven goals during this span.

-- Newly promoted club Numberg has watched the ‘under’ start 4-0, which has been helped by their defense (three goals).

Serie A – Italy

Sassuolo (+115) broke away from Empoli on Friday for a 3-1 win. The ‘over’ (2.5) connected fairly easily.

Fiorentina (-155) finally humbled SPAL with a 3-0 home win and Parma (+135) handed a blanking (2-0) to Cagliari as a home favorite as well.

Juventus (-550) and Napoli (-113) both secured wins as road favorites, both clubs winning by two goals. Lazio (-212) was laying a heavy price at home and it locked up a 4-1 win.

Bologna (+422) wasn’t give much of a chance on Sunday yet it responded with a 2-0 blanking versus Roma, the largest upset of Matchday 5.

Notable Trends

-- Juventus (5-0) improved to 5-0 and is the only team to pick up all 15 points in five games. The Old Lady has won four of those games with only two goals scored.

-- One of those wins by Juve came against Frosinone (0-1-4), who remains the only team not to score in Serie A this season.

-- Sassuolo extended it’s ‘over’ run to four games behind a league-leading offense (12 goals).

Ligue 1 – France

Nimes and AS Monaco started off Matchday 6 with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The ‘under’ (3) connected despite two goals coming early in the first-half. The tie returned just under 5/2 odds (+243).

Although the games were tight, favorites owned Saturday’s card with a 4-0 record.

Strasbourg (-113) captured a 3-1 decision over Amiens AC, which was the only game that was decided by two-plus goals.

A pair of scoreless draws were posted, which included a tie (+250) between Dijon and Stade Reims.

Paris Saint-Germain (-312) trailed 1-0 but rallied for three unanswered goals as it earned a 3-1 road win over Stade Rennes.

Lyon (-120) posted a 4-2 home win over Marseille and the combined six goals helped the ‘over’ go 3-0 on Sunday.

Notable Trends

-- PSG (6-0) remains five points clear of Lille (4-1-1) in the latest table.

-- Guingamp remains the only winless (0-6) team in Ligue 1. They’ve been outscored 17-4.

-- Reims continues to be a great ‘under’ bet (5-1) and its weak offense (three goals) and solid defense (five goals) has attributed to that mark.

La Liga – Spain

Real Sociedad captured a 1-0 win over Huesca as a road favorite (+111) on Friday.

Deportivo Alaves (+303) stole the show on Saturday with a 5-1 blowout win at Rayo Vallecano.

Atletico Madrid (-131) cashed a 2-0 win as a road favorite over Getafe while Real Madrid (-400) held off Espanyol as a home ‘chalk.’

Valladolid and Celta De Vigo provided the most entertainment as the pair combined for a 3-3 draw (+265).

Sevilla (-102) exploded on Sunday for a 6-2 road win over Levante. The club led 4-1 at halftime and the ‘over’ (3) cashed easily.

We had three games tie Sunday, which included Girona earning a 2-2 draw (+925) at Barcelona.

Notable Trends

-- All 19 teams in La Liga have at least one draw this season, expect for Rayo Vallecano (1-0-3).

-- Sticking with draws, Athletic Club has posted three consecutive ties and two of them ended with a 2-2 outcome.

-- Villareal has seen one combined goal or less occur in four of its games, which has led to a 4-1 ‘under’ record.

-- La Liga clubs playing in last week’s Champions League went 2-2-0 in Matchday 5 and the ‘under’ went 3-0-1 in those games.
