Chivas goalkeeper Brad Guzan made a pair of late saves to keep the Earthquakes off the scoreboard. Guzan turned away Kelly Gray and Kei Kamara within one minute of each other.

The goalposts denied Chivas (6-6-3) on either side of halftime. Bobby Burling rattled a shot off the crossbar in the 41st minute while Razov hit the left post in the 53rd minute.

San Jose (3-9-3), who has a league-low 10 goals this season, finished the match with four shots on goal and remained in last place in the Western Conference standings. The Quakes are winless in their last five matches.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Steven Lenhart scored the tying goal in the 87th minute to cap a comeback from two down against the Fire.

Chris Rolfe and Calen Carr scored first-half goals for Chicago (6-5-3), which is winless in its last five games.

Emmanuel Ekpo scored in the 36th minute to cut the lead in half for the Crew (8-4-3).

The Crew was led by assistant coach Robert Warzycha, who filled in for head coach Sigi Schmid. Schmid was attending his daughter's wedding in Southern California.
