LONDON (AP) -Shakhtar Donetsk and Red Bull Salzburg stretched their perfect records in the Europa League on Thursday, with the Ukrainian club securing a place in the next round alongside Galatasaray and Werder Bremen.
Shakhtar, which won the UEFA Cup last season before it was revamped as the Europa League, won 2-0 at Toulouse to continue its progress at the top of Group J, while Salzburg scored in injury time to beat Levski Sofia 1-0 but was not mathematically sure of progress yet.
Galatasaray and Bremen also advanced with victories over Dinamo Bucharest and Austria Vienna, while England's chances of a representative in the next round look bleak after Fulham lost 2-1 at AS Roma and Everton was beaten 2-0 by visiting Benfica.
